Women Needed For A Research Study at Washington University
The purpose of the study is to understand the effect of the dietary supplement “Nicotinamide mononucleotide” (NMN) on metabolic health. You might qualify if you: are female between 55-75 years old and do not have diabetes. This study involves: weekly visits (for at least 2 months, including 4 overnight visits); Medical evaluation (history and physical exam and blood tests); Metabolism studies (to assess sugar and fat metabolism); Body composition analyses (to assess body fat mass, lean body mass, liver fat and intra-abdominal fat). Businesses or organizations wishing to have an exhibit booth at the Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo on September 30, can now send in their reservation. Flora Borealis opens at Missouri Botanical Garden
Tickets are now on sale for the Missouri Botanical Garden’s summer exhibit, Flora Borealis. This nighttime multimedia experience will feature cinematic projection mapping, interactive lighting, and a custom soundscape. The evening only event will feature food and drink sales in the Garden’s newly tented beer garden, as well as live music. Closed Wednesdays in July. Tickets are date and time-specific for crowd control purposes. To ensure the best experience, please arrive to the Garden at least 15 minutes prior to entry time.Garden grounds will open at 7 p.m. nightly for all ticket holders. Visitors are invited to stroll the Garden grounds, sip cocktails, enjoy family friendly activities and listen to live music prior to dusk. When the sun sets, the magic of Flora Borealis begins. USGBC and UL (Underwriters Laboratory) recently announced a collaboration to develop digital tools that help architects, designers and buyers identify products in UL’s SPOT database that contribute to LEED v4 requirements. SPOT is a free online product database that can help design professionals identify sustainable products for green buildings during the design and specification phases.
